We're All Mad Here

I am a raccoon, a kiwi, a pineapple or a zebra depending on who you're asking.

Needless to say,
no vodka, no drama never worked for me.

I’m sorry, but girls do need to realize that what they wear contributes to rape. If you are showing a man what you have through your skimpy clothing, you clearly want him to have it. Or at least you give him that impression. And of course the girls who dress like this are the ones who go out and drink “too much” and while doing so flirt with men all night.

I get so tired of seeing on tumblr that girls should be able to wear and do whatever they want and drink as much as they want while doing it. No. If you want to accept the consequences, do it. If you don’t want to get raped, dress modestly, drink modestly, and have actual morals when you’re out with men.

No, it really doesn’t. Rapists look for vulnerability, not necessarily clothing choice. Rapists are attracted to women that wear less clothing and show more skin, but in reality, if a less modest woman is in control of the amount of alcohol/other substances she consumes, constantly watches her drink to make sure it isn’t messed with, sticks with people she knows and trusts, and knows what precautions to take just in case she’s attacked, she more than likely won’t ever be raped.

If you have certain standards and opinions on how women should dress, that’s one thing, but it’s another thing entirely to blame rape on something as small as clothing choice when it’s really soberness and alertness that play a huge role in preventing it.

Stop all this focus on how women can prevent themselves from getting raped - START TEACHING MEN NOT TO RAPE.

Rape by definition is one person forcing another to have sex with them against their will. Wearing skimpy clothes does not void your rights and free will and it certainly does not give the right to force and rape you. period. end of thought. Someone who is raped is a victim. Stop making the rapist the victim.

“Stop making the rapist the victim.” Exactly this.
